Hey, welcome to my little website.

A few years ago, I struggled quite a bit to build it because frontend development has never really been my thing. Still, I had a lot of fun doing it, and somehow it survived.

As you might have noticed, I’m a fairly talkative person, so if you ever see me, don’t hesitate to say hi. I’ll respond in about 90% of cases. The other 10% of the time, I’ll probably have my headphones on and won’t hear anything.

The path so far

My path into software engineering began with several years of hands-on work in Go and Python through internships, side projects, hackathons, and plenty of sleepless nights, all alongside my degree at the Technical University of Moldova.By the time I joined Parkopedia, I had already built a fair number of things, probably broken a few others, and gained real experience working with production systems.

At Parkopedia, I specialized in geographic data — parking spaces, processing pipelines, and lots of imagery. It was also around then that I realized I really did need math in my life, so a beautiful reunion happened: me and differential equations, and of course, the integrals. As you can probably tell, that job was real fun.

These days, I’m at Reco, and the work is quite different. It’s no longer only about fixing pipelines or implementing features, but also about helping other people solve problems effectively. My communication and customer-facing skills have grown more than I expected. I’ve also taken on mentoring and leadership responsibilities, becoming more involved in prioritization, incident handling, and the processes that keep the team moving.
